On a call today w/ @TNDeptofHealth, @TNedu, & @tosstn1975, I learned that last week, there were 14k cases of #COVID in TN schools & around 1300 sick TN kids had to be taken to ERs.
We're in a full-blown crisis and the lack of leadership in our state is utterly incomprehensible.

@EBFreitag Same! My three year old and twin five year olds have been wearing them all summer, 8:30-5:00, except during meals and naps. I am happy to report that it’s been a non-issue.
So a teacher tests positive. Do they quarantine for 14 days? Are those sick days? Who pays for them? Will they still be required to teach while in quarantine? #COVID19
