- An Ola auto-rickshaw driver was gargling and spitting on the road near Viviana Mall, Thane, Maharashtra.

- An elderly man passing by told the driver to not spit on the road as it is unhygienic and asked him to maintain cleanliness.

- The driver got angry as he believed that spitting is his fundamental right.

- He assaulted the old man and fractured his leg. While abusing the old man, the auto driver said, "Yeh Log Aate Kahan Se Hain, English Ki Aulaad".

- The driver was later beaten up by some other people and handed over to Police.
