You’d think after bungling every aspect of this flight, there’d be a gate waiting for us at LGA. Been on the tarmac for an hour with no gate available. 2.5 hour flight going on 6 hours. Shameful, @JetBlue.
@JetBlue, real awesome job with Flight 62 from PBI to LGA. Loved circling the airport for an hour and a half until we ran out of gas, only to be diverted to Atlantic City. And you wonder why you’re falling in the airline rankings year after year? Stop treating humans like cattle.

@PlasticsFella I’m a just open it and release it kind of guy. Never seen convincing data that anything non-op works. Never seen any compelling argument that lap is better (1cm scar vs a 2cm scar and you can’t see as well). Open it wide, and you won’t have to revise. Interested if I’m wrong!
@PlasticsFella My answer is medical optimization, pressure offloading, maximize nutrition, meticulous wound care, possible fecal diversion, serial debridements, and THEN a flap that might actually work! Pressure sores require a true interdisciplinary approach.

I would have loved something like this during fellowship to practice at home in a low stress environment. I see the cutout shape of an Acland clamp- is the idea to be able to practice on fake vessels, as well? Any pictures or videos of this?
I often get asked “when is the appropriate time to see a plastic surgeon?” tl;dr - whenever you want.
