@rkh_md Plate with dogbone. But man isnt that Arthrex drill for Coracoid fixation far too long/poorly designed/irritating?!. Patients face always in the way unless you tilt head to contraleral shoulder before you drape. #pleaseletmehelpyoudesigntheguide
Does adding Anterolateral Ligament (ALL) reconstruction to Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) reconstruction improve stability and outcomes? Read this meta-analysis in press in Arthroscopy: https://t.co/P3eEFCc7ZN #ACL#ALL#knee#arthroscopy#sportsmed#pivotshift
@jointdocShields This is the story of my life. Apparently when you get to “no tasks”, balloons fall from the ceiling and loud music/sirens go off. Never seen it happen though....
@Brynjakri Obviously not ideal, and unfortunately a common uncommon situation. 2wks our should still be ok to close reduce and perform modified McLaughlin procedure without too much long term detriment to the shoulder.
Nineteen total #ACL tears this season in NFL players so far. On average, the #NFL has been averaging between 40-50 for an ENTIRE season. Looks like the league is on pace to crush that record at this point. You can’t make up for lack of explosive training/preseason . @NFL#sports
@MichaelAlaiaMD Strong work. Admittedly I’ve resorted to the circumferential cinch stitch for cleavage tears for a while now. I was always taught to avoid the suture passing over the free edge, but it works well to decrease shear forces and promote healing.
