In a successful action against Narcotics, Thatta Police has arrested two notorious inter-provincial drug dealers and recovered huge quantity (100 Kg) of Charas which they had been dumping at their residential place. FIR has been registered and further investigation is underway.

Mr. Sharjill Karim Kharal visited district Thatta to inspect ongoing Repair and Renovation Works of Police Buildings and also Inaugurated various New Units established by Thatta Police.

Major achievement by Thatta Police in crackdown against criminals; a hardened criminal arrested in injured condition during a Police encounter. He had committed dozens of dacoities in Karachi & Thatta for last 20 years and had injured many victims of robberies during resistance.

Thatta Police has carried out effective crackdown against bike lifters; busted 2 gangs of criminals involved in bike theft, arrested 6 accused persons, and recovered 6 stolen bikes from their possession, legal action taken.

In continuation of action against crime, Thatta Police has busted a gang of robbers, arrested 04 criminals involved in cash robberies, recovered weapon and 01 Corolla Car used in committing crimes.
Legal action taken, further investigation is underway.

Arrangement of a New Police Patrolling & Rescue Boat at Keenjhar Lake,Thatta:
With cooperation of CPLC Jamshoro, a Brand New Police Boat has been arranged for Patrolling in Keenjhar Lake Thatta for Safety of Tourists, and Assisting STDC in Rescue Operations in case of emergency.
