I prefer wearing my own scrubs to the hospital ones. Only problem is I’ve now realised my scrubs are the same colour as the physician associate uniforms. 😣 which has already confused one pharmacist.

Fridge for thee but not for me.
When resident doctors talk about poor working conditions in the NHS, the UK immediately has the crab in a bucket mentality: it’s bad for everyone else too, why are doctors so elitist and special?
We’re not saying that. But often we’re greeted with unpleasant reminders of how we can’t be treated with a shred of dignity.
It’s a tiny thing. They’re always small things, but it sums up how we’re treated in the NHS. We are dehumanised and somehow expected to be grateful to our monopsony employer @NHSEngland@wesstreeting
Hello my name is Plastic Surgery Reg
I’m glad patients know who they’re seeing, or what “reg” stands for after waiting months or years for their appointment
Nurses get their names, consultants get their names. Resident doctors? Don’t be silly, we’re not worthy

A friend's daughter has just graduated with a First in Physiotherapy.
3000 grads. 50 suitable jobs nationally.
She is now working at Tesco.
There is a national shortage of Physios.
Make it make sense!

📢 We are about to GO LIVE with our next project EVADE 📢
Evaluation of the Variation in Management and Outcomes after an Acute Decompensation of Liver cirrhosis Event
From speaking to patients we know this is an area of unmet need!

Can I just put it out there that after I gave birth no one offered me tea and toast - I was led to believe this was the best thing ever and is offered to everyone in the NHS after having a baby 😅😅.
The paper all of us female ERCPists need to see 👏 well done for writing this! Lack of visible role models is still a huge issue but hope this goes a small way to encouraging more (although we have a looooong way to go!)
