South Tech student Jackson Mandernach was recognized at last week's Board meeting for his quick thinking that saved his mother's life. The training that Mandernach received as part of the Firefighting & EMT program allowed him to take quick action.

Staff at Captain Elementary ( @ClaytonSchools) joined together to support students as they headed to a Special Olympics Track and Field Meet in April! The shirts say "Choose to Include," reminding students that everyone wins when we give others the chance to fulfill their dreams.

Brian Chance, an SSD teacher at @RitenourSchoo, has been awarded the Make A Difference Award for his work in helping students with IEPs graduate. Chance's tireless work has significantly increased the graduation rate of Ritenour students with IEPs.
