@BjrnWestling#servitizationmooc i think you nailed it. The purpose is not to offer services but to create value for the customers. In other words servitization is a mean to accomplish customer value.
@magnusgunnar67#servitizationmooc yes, many banks (and insurance companies) speaks about their product portfolio, despite they are offering services. There is actually a research stream on prductification that studies this.
@AndersErsmarker #servitizationmooc Yes - and that is also the challenge for companies to understand what creates value for the customers. We will come back to that during the course.
@BjrnWestling#servitizationmooc you are perfectly right. In practice you might need to adopt different degrees of servitization for different customers.
@cathalt100@Sukhov88@IM_CTF#im74 Depends on whether the users have any mandate in the decision, or if they are just advisors. Most likely most organisations would not give them this mandate.
#im74 A3: This is not trivial when it comes to disruptive innovations as it takes time for the market/users to adopt this type of innovations. A survey might give totally wrong implressions as shown by history.
@cathalt100@IM_CTF#im74 It could be, or even should be. But, in practice we don't always see this happen, i.e. an "isolated" management group makes the decisions.
