@IM_CTF#im74A4: Its very cool. And of course they have similar hick-ups, meaning that I, as a person, is trapped in my pre-believes, and than suddenly realize that there is a hick-up, and then realise that I should have seen it previously, since its similar to a hick-up in another field
@IM_CTF#im74 A4: Lots of them! There is so many similarites between this and other subjects I have studied, that I have never thought about before. The innovation process is very similar to learning, both individual and organsational learning, but also a form of "Societal learning"
@DrJNetz@Sukhov88@IM_CTF#im74 i.e. we have made sure that the T-shirt designs are feasible, and not something that would require us to develop a new fabric for the T-shirts, or a new printing technique, or using real 24-karat-gold as coloring.
@DrJNetz@Sukhov88@IM_CTF#im74 If we use a pre-specified threshold, we have basically made a part of the final decision, i.e. not totally left it to the crowd. Right? We have put in the criteria that the T-shirts have to have a demand for them, and probably set some technical criterias as well.
@DrPMag@Sukhov88@IM_CTF#im74 I just meant that _not_ using the crowd as decision-makers, doesn't mean that they are excluded from the evaluation and refinement process, or even the almost-final-decision-process, choosing the top ten ideas or such.
@DrJNetz@Sukhov88@IM_CTF#im74 Yes, I think that's how https://t.co/QP9MenzyVf works. And also Malmö Stad has some function where medborgare can propose things, and if they get enough votes, they are presented to the board.
@HayleyMcLaugh14@IM_CTF#im74 > so the board dont feel the same urgency to lift ideas and feel that the cost of having experts screening them are to high. So instead of not devloping any ideas, a totally crowd based assessment could be better than none!
@HayleyMcLaugh14@IM_CTF#im74 Yes, and no. I think that is dependant on the number of ideas and the organisations need of new ideas. If we look at Health care, the board commonly dont feel the need for new ideas, but the patients do.
@DrJNetz@IM_CTF#im74 As you said in your thesis, the democratic approach can be both time-saving as well as money-saving. So the siphering of the dischargepile is of course something that could cost more than it gives. (kostar mer än det smakar)
@IM_CTF#im74 A3:>leave the final decision to people that are well aware of the organisations values and purpose. Great ideas, even feasible once could be wring for an organisation, and better left to be given away to someone else!
@IM_CTF#im74 A3: I dont understand the question :/ Isn't alternative perspectives a part of the potential information that the decision makers use to make their decision?
