Business confidence continues to dive on the Chancellor's watch.
The latest BCC survey warns that employment costs increased at the budget will push up prices. Not only do Labour's choices mean fewer jobs for working people, but higher costs in the shops.
@paulkenyonTV@BBCFHewison@CarlJohnston2 I regularly speak with colleagues at other UK institutions and I believe they would be in broad agreement with what I am saying here. 5/5
@paulkenyonTV@BBCFHewison@CarlJohnston2 The sector has funding issues, but giving a selective view of one particular aspect of higher education and presenting it as the complete story does not help, and in fact causes other issues. 4/5
https://t.co/pKDWYoiEw0 - does anyone else find it mildly disturbing that the BBC have said that temperatures have increased "by a third" and given some percentages?
Would it be OK if percentages were done on the kelvin values? (I still don't think so!)

@Conservatives@michelledonelan To be fair, I did find a woke laser in the lab the other day. I chucked it in the bin - one bin - I wasn't going to split it between the seven that the local Labour-led council want me to do.
https://t.co/DhxH7uyYEL This is good news. But the amount of self-congratulation from the people in charge, who have addressed one tiny aspect of the complete disaster that they have presided over, is pretty appalling.
@Rainmaker1973@IsTrueOfItself@theraviranjankr I haven't calculated the guided waves for this case (and a quick search of the literature didn't throw anything up) but here the high frequencies arrive earlier and the low frequencies later suggesting wave velocity increases with frequency. 5/6
