For 6 years, we FMGs lived thousands of kilometres away from our motherland to become doctors.

We left our families, our homes, our festivals and everything familiar behind. Yet we carried India in our hearts wherever we went. 🇮🇳

We studied medicine abroad, shared our culture, represented our country with pride and held onto one dream:

“One day, we will return home and serve our own people.”

And we did.

After completing our MBBS, we came back to India — not to run away from responsibility, but to build our future here and serve the people of our own country.

Then came the June 2026 FMGE.

We are not asking for an easy examination.
We are not asking for undeserved marks.
We are not asking NBEMS to compromise medical standards.

We are asking to be heard.

Thousands of FMGs have been carrying the pain of this examination. The concerns surrounding the difficulty, video-based questions, transparency and examination conditions have already led to widespread demands for a fair resolution. The June exam had an exceptionally low qualifying rate. (The Indian Express)

And today, our fellow doctors are sitting peacefully at Gautam Nagar, Delhi, with some undertaking a hunger strike because they feel they have reached the end of the road after repeatedly seeking answers.

Think about that.

Doctors are studying with their books in their hands while sitting at a protest site.
Doctors are sacrificing their health because they feel their voices are not being heard.

How much pain must a person carry before they choose hunger over food just to make their voice heard?

We humbly request the Government of India, the Ministry of Health, NBEMS and NMC:

Please meet the protesting doctors.
Please listen to their concerns.
Please review the June 2026 FMGE fairly.
Please consider appropriate compensation for affected candidates.

Behind every FMGE candidate is not just a roll number.

There is a son.
A daughter.
A family.
Six years of sacrifice.
Years of education.
And a dream to serve India.

We came back to our motherland because we belong here.

Please don’t let these doctors feel that their motherland has stopped listening to them.

🇮🇳 We don’t want sympathy.
We want fairness.
We want transparency.
We want justice.
We want a chance to serve our country.
