@UMABird@AAPSonline As a doc who has practiced DPC since 2008, I can tell you that 95% of my patients have insurance. Some with low and some with high deductibles. DPC is about trusting relationships that ADD value to your healthcare. It’s based on how you value your healthcare team.
@UMABird@AAPSonline Membership based options for patients came about as a result of govt-Insurance system that caused high premiums. DPC is a more affordable option. Giving govt/insurers more power would just increase overall costs further or allow govt to decide on your care. Neither option good.
