Abdul: But, BJP changed the appointment process of Election Commissioners.

Me: Ok, tell me who appointed Election Commissioners from 1952 to 2023?

Abdul: Supreme Court.

Me: Idiot!! Previously Election Commissioners were directly appointed by Prime Ministers but now they are appointed by a panel which consists of PM, LOP and a Central Minister. Which is more democratic?

Abdul: Really?? But still previous ECs were neutral they never sided with Congress.

Me: Do you know Ex CEC TN Seshan and MS Gill joined Congress Party after retirement?? Do you know these two Ex CEC got Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha ticket after retirement? Do you know Ex CEC Navin Chawla was accused of taking donations and Land Parcels for his wife’s NGO from Congress Leaders?? Do you know in 2014 EC did not allow Modi to Campaign in Varanasi.
