@SenJonHusted ratepayer protection act.....is that like the "working families tax cut act" funding the mandatory spending for the department of Homeland security?
Turns out Keynes was full of shit. Really. Because he never addressed the long term consequences of paying for the stimulus which might be needed now and then, which turned out to apparently be needed every 10 years on a grand scale
@profstonge they just really need to keep their helping grubby hands out of pandemic and stimulus spending. it's always that which catapults catastrophe. the regular budget wouldn't be so much of the problem. But that needs addressing to.
but electric costs for everyone have real consequences and are not like the cover charge because you don't have to go the nude bar but you do need lights on at home sometimes. the nude bar by the way always charges the cover prices don't they.
so it's like, you're asking people if they want to get into the nude bar without a cover charge. of course they would say yes. which is what the data centers get to do if they don't have to pay for their own infrastructure
@SenSanders@SenWarren no reasonable person could ever think California could handle that money..... even if it was theirs to begin with, as the 5th largest economy in the world
@SenWarren There's a hundred billion from dept
Of Homeland security....and by the bye....how did a working families tax cut act fund the mandatory spending for the dept.? hehe
