Teams often overvalue 1st round picks and the Rams use it to their advantage. Around 40% of 1st round picks don’t even have their 5th year option picked up. Bottom half of 1st round is probably 50-50. If can get a stud for several years and you are usually picking back half of round 1… you should take it
