@CriticalBard Reminds me of 3 vs 3.5. "Not a new edition" because it didn't take a lot of relearning.
But enough rules updated and changed that it got weirder and harder the longer you wanted to keep using the older stuff.

Time for Ask a Blind Guy. Hit me with your blind GM/Player questions. Or just blind guy questions in general. I DM #DnD and play & GM other #TTRPGs . Please ask cause ignorance is the enemy. *smiles*
@robosnake Sounds like things are going real rough for you. Sorry to hear that.
Hoping that you have someone you can talk to and get support from irl.
Watching community deteriote sucks.
@newbiedm Yeah new settings AND support is so key. Was excited about the mtg settings, but Theros and Ravnica felt like pitches for a campaign more than full settings.
Had to invent a lot just to make the worlds make sense.
Fun ideas that needed more support than 1 half-baked book.
@the_gamenomicon Of these, I'd say #4. Stars could be fewer and brighter. Had to expand image to really see them.
Also I might encase that flour de lis in an outline that evokes a spaceship or travel. Think star trek but with a fluer de lis instead of a star shape inside that swooshy triangle.
Its fun to dunk on a jerk finding out after fucking around...
BUT getting purposefully bumped does NOT justify kicking someone to the ground and repeatedly attacking.
That's assault, the initial shove doesn't make it permissible, and the person kicking is the true asshole here.
@growingupgamers I loved Littlewood. Started out with Courtney and I both playing but we got to the final, get all the stuff part and I actually found it relaxing so charged ahead. Love the little stories. Its up there for one of my favs in its slightly janky but charming way.
@growingupgamers So far Bandle Tale is pretty fun. The story is a little...stuffs broke, fix it. But the game play is pretty cute. You have to gather resources to build stuff, serve food, throw parties, and rallie the people to reconnect the world. Having fun so far.
@growingupgamers 5, Littlewood started out with partner but mostly on my own now. Badle Tale and Paleo Pines with my partner. Mario Wonder as a family. Minecraft with just me and my kids.
And in a board game, if the rules don't something it, then you can't do it. And in a TTRPG, if the rules don't mention something, then that's where you just start making stuff up.
I like this rough distinction. It is a notable difference between TTRPGs and Board Games. By default, in a board game, you can't do something unless the rules say you CAN. By default, in a TTRPG, you can try to do anything unless the rule say you CAN'T.
