SHOULDER UPDATE:
Today, I went to Coventry for a second opinion about my shoulder.
I went through my history with one of the doctors who then sent me for an x-ray so that they could have a better idea of how my structure is after tearing the tendons again.
@BJSM_BMJ@Marco_dube I would be interested in any information about patients with permanently dislocated shoulders (i.e. more than 1 torn rotator cuff tendon) and return to full activity).
Good luck to everyone running in any marathon, half-marathon, park run, daily job, etc. Have a wonderful time and stay hydrated! #marathon2023#marathon

Well, I'm taking time off to concentrate on my own rehabilitation. Having a permanently dislocated shoulder and multiple inoperable tendon tears, I think it might be time to call it a day as a sports massage therapist. I'll be taking my Twitter page down in a day or two. G'bye.
“very significant superior migration of the humeral head indicating irreparability of [the] cuff which is now retracted to the level of the glenoid.” Where does this leave me? Answers on a postcard, please. #rotatorcuff#shoulder#sportsmassage#physiotherapy
So, what’s a mobile sports massage therapist to do with a shoulder that has: “a failed revision cuff repair with augmentation grafting” (so, torn tendons of: supraspinatus, infraspinatus, subscapularis, & long head of biceps). Plus…
I may never be able to go back to being a sports massage therapist as I cannot guarantee that I can work the arm as I would need to do during treatment, but I'm seeking advice on that.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

Well, they are no longer aligned and this is because of the damaged rotator cuff muscle no longer keeping the head of the humerus in place so that a lovely arch should be formed - but is not (Purple Arch).
Latest on my shoulder reconstruction. Somehow I managed to tear the graft in my shoulder which was a boring the supraspinatus & long head bicep tendon. On top of that, I somehow tore the subscapularis tendon which had previously been uninjured. Being referred for 2nd opinion. 🙄
@AdamMeakins Wow. I’m speechless. Do clients not come back after one treatment because they are truly “fixed” or, do they not return because they’ve been exfoliated & flayed alive & are too polite to say? I was taught you should never cause your clients pain (discomfort is natural), not pain.
