Not buying it at all, it’s not the way the Birds do things. When they do, it’s retaliatory, and they’ll plunk you on the butt with low velo. They don’t have anybody on the pitching staff with that edge anymore. Sounds like a fragile ego who knows he’s been worse than he expects of himself and doesn’t know how to take accountability or behave like he’s been there before.
