Join a troop of semi-experienced adventurers trying to save scouts and Elderhaven, on the Irish #DnD actual play with the most malarkey and merit badges 🏳️🌈
I guess flinch if you want. The people who appear on my projects *are* performers.
They are still playing a game, but they are also doing things that many players are not. They have developed a set of skills to be entertaining while they play.
So many shows have just vanished from streaming services, some only weeks after release. In many cases the reason that makes the most sense is that studios don't want to pay residuals. Cheap asses that they are. I hope SAG-AFTRA gets what they are demanding and deserve.
When people say the OGL was designed to leverage the rhetorical power of "open source" towards achieving monopolistic ends, this is what they're talking about.
(For the curious, the source to this is here, an in-house interview from 20 years ago: https://t.co/I7MdnUNH9z)
Did you know that we have great #ttRPG courses that are NOT exclusive to one game system? That you can take at any time? That are SUPER affordable?
We love this course about writing solo gamebooks, designed by the amazing Sersa Victory:

Lots of folks have already come forward for this - please continue to RT and share. Hoping to show the immediate impact the new OGL has had, even on smaller creators who would not have to pay royalties to Wizards.
🧵A thread of #TTRPG Open Game Licenses (or similar legal docs) for consideration!🧵
There are many cool systems out there friends. If for "some reason" you are considering creating for a new system, here's a list of links. Please share & add if you know of others.

The first I saw of this was when @kmdemat called me earlier today to tell me. We both read through it, and it rings true to us based on our own experiences with Satine Phoenix & Jamison Stone. This is our (long) story.
Throughout, K=Katie and T=Me.

What We Did In 2021:
1) Launched Kill Every Monster with the Banshee episode and our good friend @NaturallyOrla.
Orla set the guest bar very high while she told us about the personal nature of Irish curses: https://t.co/P1wxqPMK6M
Show and Tell 81 is up! Tom sits down with @NaturallyOrla to talk about her latest mystery #dnd adventure, The Valley. This small town sandbox adventure will take your level 1 characters up to level 3.

keeping myself sane by going through the footage for what we have of @DragonsDublin season 2 and this preview image of me from one of the outtake videos is making me laugh so much
