@TheRealNurseMo_@notorious_zaddy I think how not to depend on salary is a better course to sell rather than how to manage your salary till next salary date
When Paul stood on Mars Hill in Athens, he preached to skeptics, critics, and "sophisticated eggheads."
He began with their spiritual hunger and pointed them to Jesusβeven quoting pagan poets to build bridges.
Many churches today adopt this "Mars Hill philosophy" to connect with postmodern seekers.
But are we missing something crucial?
Are we to minister as those IN the world? Absolutelyβthat's Jesus's own prayer for His followers (John 17:14-16).
But must we minister as those OF the world? Absolutely not.
We must relate to the world but not compromise biblical essentials for the church.
There's a vital difference between engagement and compromise.
Nowhere in Acts or the Epistles do we see a church called to provide a subculture for unbelievers.
The lost don't need to find at church a world that's like their world.
Paul's urgent charge to Timothy: "Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season" (2 Timothy 4:1-2).
This command is for the speaker, not the hearer.
Before adopting any ministry philosophy, ask yourself:
- Can I support this change from Scripture?
- Am I looking at Mars Hill (Acts 17) while ignoring Acts 2:42?
Instead of searching for justification in the Bible, search for direction from the biblical text.
When you find it... follow it.
Whether you're considering emerging church strategies or any ministry approachβbe discerning.
"That's you. That's me. That's every elder who teaches. That's all who are called to stand and deliver."
Let Scripture guide your methods, not culture.
Make straight the path of the Lord

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
People who have truly tasted Christ rarely wake up one morning and decide to serve evil. Apostasy is rarely a sudden leap; it is usually a gradual drift.
It begins by convincing ourselves that our compromises are for God. A small dilution here. A slight accommodation there. A truth softened to avoid offense. A doctrine adjusted to fit the spirit of the age.
Then the dilution intensifies. And intensifies again.
What was once a minor concession becomes a habit. What was once a habit becomes a principle. What was once a principle becomes a new gospel.
Until, eventually, the erosion is complete and nothing remains but the shell of Christianity, bearing the name of Christ while having abandoned His voice.
The most dangerous deceptions are not those that arrive wearing the face of Satan, but those that arrive wearing the face of good intentions.

Wisdom of men in place of the wisdom and power of God .
Idahosa's daughter left your podcast even more worst awokened lady.
Why didn't you awaken her in the scripture.
From the very first day I saw your clip, I knew you were a time bomb
The question is this: Is the gospel sufficient?
Is the simple kerygma, the proclamation of the good news of the cross, enough to accomplish God's salvific purposes?
If our answer is yes, then what is the essence of these "shift culture" distractions?
If our answer is no, are we then saying the wisdom of God is not wise enough, or the power of God is not strong enough?
For the gospel is both the wisdom and the power of God unto salvation.
Note, it is not unto cultural change. It is unto salvation.
The gospel, therefore, is primarily a means of reconciliation, not cultural engineering.
The Apostle Paul said that some were once without God and without hope in this world, but now they are members of God's household.
It follows, therefore, that the gospel primarily relocates people from one spiritual state to another.
And these people, like those in Noah's ark, are separated from the coming destruction and judgment upon the earth.
I am saying the effect of the gospel is manifested as extractive rather than imposing.
I am saying the gospel has been preached when people are taken from darkness to light, from sin to justification, and from death to life.
And this can be done even in the most depraved of cultures.
The Christians in the seven churches of Revelation were living in some of the most depraved cultures imaginable.
Yet, when the Lord came to caution them, He did not advocate for cultural change, but for an inner one within the church.
Finally, if we need the broader culture to change first before souls can be transformed by the gospel, then our gospel has failed.
The gospel is efficacious in any context because it is the wisdom of God from above, and only the power of God animates it.
Let us stick to the gospel. It is simple. It is enough.
Amen.
