@directordulles@GFsomewhere@SmithsHand5309@wil_da_beast630 Why do they have that culture and other blacks do not? It is unique to the ancestors of slaves who were subjected to American politics and culture for generations. Immigrants do not have these outcomes, maybe it’s a difference in history and the experiences of their ancestors?:)
@YumFried1374@SmithsHand5309@wil_da_beast630 You don’t think children are heavily influenced by their parents? It’s a chain effect, we are literally all shaped by the experiences of our ancestors going back 4 billion years. Which is why 4 generations is quite recent and likely has significant impact, good or bad
@directordulles@GFsomewhere@SmithsHand5309@wil_da_beast630 Well if there’s impact that would be an important variable in today’s outcome would it not? The question is why? American blacks of recent immigration (Nigerians specifically) out perform American blacks who descend from slavery and even American whites. It’s not about biology.
@reactonaryincel@ofreacharound So the Khoisan people got their epicanthic folds from western Eurasian (European) admixture roughly 1000 years ago? Interesting interpretation😂
@reactonaryincel@ofreacharound East Asian, South East Asian, and South Pacific. I still don’t know your stance. Is the race concept (based on phenotypes) a valid indicator of genetic relatedness and shared ancestry? Or is it meaningless because multiple groups exist within these simplistic race categories?
@BecomingCritter Primates seek out ethanol as a signal of fruit ripeness and nutritional value. To some degree we have been using it for millions of years
@reactonaryincel@ofreacharound South Central Africans interbred with Asians? 😂 no. You see how these phenotypes don’t neatly align with racial categories? Therefore making them poor indicators of shared ancestry
@kalospepgod Nah it boils down to the key male female difference. Females have limited eggs and hold all of the energetic and time costs of reproduction, therefore they focus on quality. Males have virtually unlimited sperm and focus on quantity
@reactonaryincel@ofreacharound And I never said race was based solely on skin color, I said primarily…. So your what do you think the common American concept of race is determined by and used as? Please specify how and why it is commonly used, as application provides the defining characteristics
@GFsomewhere@SmithsHand5309@wil_da_beast630 Are you under the impression that there after slavery their was no oppression two the continuing generations? But sure, you think events that your great grandparents experienced have no effect on your current life?
@SmithsHand5309@wil_da_beast630 So your stance is that events that occur to your direct ancestors over the last 4 generations have no impact on the present generation?
@reactonaryincel@ofreacharound Ahh shall we do Asians? I assume you would say we identify them based on their eyes not skin color, but what about the Khoisan peoples? Are they then considered Asian?
