I applied for an International Driver’s Licence and licence extract because I am relocating. I subsequently received an SMS from a number claiming to be FRSC Mabushi, asking me to pay a ₦2,500 fine via a link.

Shortly afterwards, THREE large unauthorized transactions were debited from my Zenith Bank account:

• ₦1,512,904 — RAWDAT ALJAMAL MACHI
• ₦1,136,260 — SMART WELL EQUIPMENT
• ₦759,466.16 — DAJIANG WORKSHOP
TOTAL: ₦3,408,630.16
I did NOT authorize these transactions. This appears to be a serious fraud incident.

@ZenithBank I urgently need these transactions investigated, the funds traced/frozen where possible, and my money recovered. Please escalate this immediately as a fraud case.

@cenbank Please intervene and ensure urgent investigation and recovery of these funds.

I need an immediate response. ₦3.4 MILLION has been taken from my account.

After receiving the message, 3 unauthorized transactions totaling ₦3,408,630.16 were taken from my account. I did not authorize these transactions.

I have reported the matter to my bank(Zenith bank) and CBN. Please urgently investigate the phone number and link, trace the recipients behind these transactions, and help recover my funds before they are moved further.

I have the original SMS, phone number, link, transaction alerts and other evidence. Please @PoliceNG / NPF-NCCC intervene and investigate this case urgently.

Was this message/link genuinely sent by FRSC Mabushi? If not, please urgently investigate the number, link and individuals behind this scam and assist law enforcement in tracing the perpetrators.

This has resulted in the loss of over ₦3.4 million. Please treat this as an emergency and issue an urgent public clarification if this is a fraudulent message impersonating FRSC.

If we are being honest, a Medical House Officer in 2026 should be earning nothing less than 1.5 million naira monthly.

A Junior Resident should earn nothing less than 3 million naira monthly.

A Senior Resident should earn nothing less than 4 million naira monthly

A Consultant Specialists starting salary should not be less than 8.5 million naira monthly.

A Medical Officer’s least pay after completing NYSC should be nothing less 2 million per month.

All these are basic salaries minus benefits and other packages.

We are just not a serious country that values healthcare enough to fund it properly.
