ஏழை, எளிய மாணவர்களின் மருத்துவக் கனவைச் சிதைக்க நீங்கள் யார்?

ஏழை மற்றும் எளிய மக்களின் குழந்தைகள் மருத்துவராகக் கூடாது என்பதுதான் உங்கள் நோக்கமா? 4 ஆண்டுகள் படித்து மருத்துவர் ஆக நினைக்கும் மாணவர்களிடம் கார்பெண்டர், பிளம்பர் வேலை பாருங்கள் என்று அறிவுரை சொல்ல நீங்கள் யார்? ஒரு மாணவனின் உயரிய கனவை மட்டம் தட்டுவது எந்த வகையான வழிகாட்டுதல்?

மாணவர்களுக்கு வழிகாட்டுகிறேன் என்ற பெயரில், அவர்களின் எதிர்காலக் கனவுகளையே முடக்கும் பேச்சு இது. நீட் தேர்வு வேண்டாம், வேறு வேலை பார் என்று சொல்வது மாணவர்களின் கடின உழைப்பையும் சமூக நீதியையும் அவமதிக்கும் செயல்!

திறமையை வளர்த்துக்கொள்ள ஊக்கப்படுத்துவதா அல்லது கனவையே கைவிடச் சொல்வதா? கடின உழைப்பால் முன்னேறத் துடிக்கும் ஏழை மாணவர்களைப் பார்த்து உனக்கு மருத்துவம் வேண்டாம் என்று சொல்வதற்குப் பதிலாக, அவர்களுக்கான கல்வி வாய்ப்புகளையும் நல்ல சூழலையும் உருவாக்க வேண்டியதுதானே அரசின் பொறுப்பு? முதலில் அந்த வேலையைப் பாருங்கள்.

மாணவர்களின் உழைப்பைக் கேலி செய்வதையும், அவர்களின் மருத்துவக் கனவை முடக்குவதையும் நிறுத்துங்கள். இனியாவது சங்கி எண்ணங்களை மூட்டை கட்டி வைத்துவிட்டு, மாணவர்களின் முன்னேற்றத்திற்கு ஊக்கம் அளிக்கப் பாருங்கள்!

One month of positive changes. Let's verify.

TASMAC — 717 shops "closed".

Every TN government has done this:
Jayalalithaa — 500 shops (2016)
EPS — 500 shops (2017)
Stalin — 500 shops (2023)
Vijay — 717 shops (2026)

But here's what they didn't tell you: A field inspection found several "closed" shops still operating near schools and places of worship across Chennai. The TASMAC Union itself confirmed — the list was prepared without field verification. If the 500-metre rule was applied strictly, nearly 2,500 shops should close — not 717.
717 is a press release number. The ground reality is different.

SingapennAdhiradiPadai — 2,538 personnel deployed:
Not a single new officer was recruited. Every one of those 2,538 personnel was transferred from existing police duties. Total TN police strength hasn't increased by one officer.
2,538 posts elsewhere are now understaffed.
This is not addition. It's redistribution with a rebrand.
Same officers. New name. New inauguration.

One month of governance theatre, built on incomplete closures and reshuffled manpower.

Come back at 12 months with field data, not inauguration photos.

Just one month into office, and the positive changes can already be seen and felt across Tamil Nadu.

In this short period, our Hon’ble Chief Minister @TVKVijayHQ Anna has taken several encouraging steps in areas such as women’s safety, tackling the drug menace, attracting investments, improving public services, strengthening accountability in governance, and closing several TASMAC outlets.

It has also been encouraging to see people from different backgrounds and sections of society have been given the opportunity to play a role in governance, reflecting the true spirit of an inclusive Tamil Nadu which Thanthai Periyar had originally envisioned!

A special mention to the launch of the #SingapennAdhiradiPadai, as promised. It is one of the most important need of the hour and has given hope and confidence to women across our state. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
