Australian Catholic University have not held their student's or the community's safety as the priority. I've heard lots of confirmation regarding the lack of social distancing. Students are doing placement in hospitals and working in front line jobs too.

Everyone wants to return to "normal" as soon as we can but as the Premier says we can't think this is over because we want it to be

Fingers crossed ACU postpones the face to face classes a few weeks, reduces class sizes so you can socially distance & returns to offering online classes where there's no need for face to face learning just as Latrobe Uni has taken the lead on. You're all so dedicated.

@Mustafa_87BC @theage They are just trying to protect their patients they are caring for while on placement by asking ACU to postpone face to face classes until the end of level 4 restrictions. Latrobe uni has done this - ACU can do it to as it will save these students patients lives.

These students are trying to protect patients they are caring for while on placement simply asking for face to face classes to be postponed until LVL 4 restrictions end. a few weeks away just as Latrobe uni has done.

@28061914mary @theage Not true at all. There's also risk these students will pass it on to their patients and coworkers while undertaking placements in hospital or to their households. Many live with parents, grandparents.

@Duregine @theage They care deeply for their patients. That's why they are asking for online classes to be postponed until after stage 4 so that they don't risk getting coronavirus and passing it on to their patients. The students are doing the right thing by the patients.
