@MichaelMLG_@BattlefieldInte *Monkey Paw Curls* NASA announces its intent to mine asteroids, with its first mining probe officially named, “The Ishimura” jokingly by the lead engineer who is a Dead Space fan. They find…..something.
@PaulTassi While it would be a great boost for Bungie to have a project like this, financial gains and a cool new project for them to dive into and hire around, I hope it doesn’t hurt their plans around Destiny and Marathon, especially Destiny.
@Serj_7509@Brendzun He didn’t larp. He did the raids blind and engaged with the community and creators alike. Milo truly enjoyed D2 for the lore and challenge. Sadly, D2 let us all down post FS. Here’s hoping the future, now that Bungie are recommitting to Destiny as a franchise, is better.
@somebody_ex_@DiscussingFilm It’s great. Good writing, solid casting for all characters, fun action, and each season being its own contained story makes for lots of variety across the seasons. Well worth your time.
@PaulTassi Do you really think we will not get at least Old Chicago and the story stuff from Shattered cycle? It could be used to help create a more natural endpoint for D2 as they then sort the unvaulting, and work on their future plans?
@VegaLyraeVT Nah, my spinfoil hat theory is Sony were facing a PR disaster over cancelling games and discs. Their live service push has failed and cost them a lot of money. Destiny still has a fair amount of active players and is live. Let’s double down on what’s working and rebuild some rep.
@Barry6jc@KnownAsSys I saw some tweets from some people getting rehired. One was an artist and another mocap guy I believe. It’s in the realm of possibility this guy is also back. Time will tell.
@ZeroTheTwat@Ynys_Prydein@D2_Director I feel it was 1000% management saying no to reworking the old content. They lkley didnt see the monetary value in it....like all dogshit greedy execs do.
@dsco939821 @jaredjbrock@emptyseeker@PaulTassi It not releasing was good. Once Naughty Dog learned what it truly took to keep a Live Service game going, they backed out of it. They would've had to put too much of the studio staff onto it long term. They wouldn't have been able to make singleplayer games as they would like to.
@Cornetto_Orrik@ZayOsirisGaming You are WAY wrong here. A port would be a much much larger undertaking than finishing up SC content release. You have to build new back-end networking for the PC Platform, add in a comparable settings menu to D2, add new tech supports like DLSS, Ultrawide support etc. Its a LOT.
@TheDivisionGame Please please please, even if its only a 1 time character transfer and not full cross save/ progression, let use move characters from Console to PC. Its the SINGLE BIGGEST thing holding the game back from being the easiest return/ recommend.
