Labor Day weekend warriors. Had a fun time in St. George with Sarah’s family. Tried some new trails, including this new family-friendly favorite.

@EddieThe7th’s first day of lift-serve mountain biking @brianheadresort was a success! After 3 laps, and nearly 3,500 vertical feet of beautiful single track, Eddie said “dad, I think I changed my mind. That was the best day of my life!”

#BrianHead was a beautiful little roadtrip chasing #allthingsadventure! We loved escaping the heat and getting outside.

Life is too good, and fast. Sometimes I feel like I’m going to completely miss this beautiful season of crazy kids if I blink. Love them.

🇺🇸 First time in 13 years I haven’t worked the 4th of July, and it was awesome! I’m grateful for those who did work so hard to give us our independence 250 years ago, and for the privilege it is to celebrate the unmatched freedoms America affords with the ones I love most!

Ophir, Utah! A staple of my childhood. We have been letting the kids explore all that the old mining ghost town has to offer where the 1st Edward Dalton lived 7 generations ago! From caving and rope swinging to gold panning and truck bed rides! The mountain air isn’t bad either!

St. George trip with the fam! Climbing, biking, and swimming! It doesn’t surprise me that Lue loves climbing, but can someone please explain how Eddie can be scared of his own shadow, but doesn’t have a worry in the world doing this?! Good times in the desert sand and sun! 🌞

🎓 Our not-so-little Eddie recently graduated from his Busy Hands and Happy Hearts preschool. He absolutely loved his amazing teacher Mrs. Pateresa, making new friends, and learning. He also completed his first season of soccer on the “Black Ninjas” team ⚽️🥷!

I am feeling bad I haven’t ‘scrapbooked’ on here for so long, and with the sheer volume of photos & videos we take, I seriously doubt if the kids will ever find the memories buried in the terabytes of storage when they are older, so my apologies for the multi-post catchup. 😁

Everyday I get a front row seat to Sarah putting on the Mother Masterclass to our kiddos, and each day it becomes more and more apparent why the universe seemed to conspire against us becoming parents. It knew she would be too good at it. We love you Sarah. #HappyMothersDay

The kids were so brave at their first mountain bike race this week. Luella just enjoys having pedals on her bike now, and trying to keep up with Eddie. Despite starting with the older kids and quickly getting left behind, Eddie mustered the courage to finish the longer lap.

And just like that, @LuLuellaLu is off of her training wheels at just 2 years old! She is so proud of herself (we are too). Watch out @EddieThe7th, she’s coming for you!

Baby sister Dorothy spent her first vacation sleeping, nursing, and filling diapers, but the rest of us had a blast in sunny St. George. Good times in warmer weather, mostly riding bikes. We were all happy to get out of newborn quarantine before it’s back to work and real life.

At long last, here we finally are, at the bittersweet final step of our thousand-mile IVF journey, with our last little miracle baby girl, Dorothy Dawn Dalton.

Merry Christmas from the Daltons. As busy as it is, we love this season of the year, and life. We feel so blessed to have each other. The kids have brought so much magic to our lives, and the holidays. We love them to the North Pole and back. May God bless you.
