The scalability of Hydra is uncapped, as a theoretically unlimited number of Hydra Heads can be opened.

It is possible to open for example 10M of Hydra Heads.

But it is important to say that Hydra Head opens for a limited number of users, for example, 10.

Unlike #Bitcoin's Lighting Network, where channels are only opened between 2 users, #Cardano will allow Hydra Head to be opened to multiple users.

They can incrementally decommit funds from Hydra Heads. This means users can leave without having to close the entire Head.

The next advancement will be an incremental commit allowing entry into the opened Hydra Head.

The challenge for the Hydra team will be to build a protocol that will connect the Hydra Heads. This should allow interaction between users who are in different Hydra Heads.

As far as I know, it is now impossible.

I don't know what the team's progress is in this regard. Connecting Hydra Heads will have limitations in terms of scalability. There will be some non-negligible overhead.

The number of users of Hydra is truly uncapped, but keep in mind that there will be limitations regarding mutual interaction between users in different Hydra Heads.
