Joe Johnson reveals yoga saved his career from injuries, and says he still thinks he could give an NBA team 20-25 points per game
“I just love staying in shape, man. I love fitness. I played 18 years professionally, so the work habits that I’ve created over the years, they just don’t go away. I just took what I learned in basketball and took it over to the yoga world.”
“I try to put people on and invite them into that space because it’s so sacred for me. I take it like I’m going to basketball practice or playing in a game. That’s how I approach the yoga.”
“I got into it because of injuries. I had tendinitis in both of my knees, and I had it in my Achilles. It healed me within like a week. We’re tight in our quads and our hamstrings, which tightens up our knees and our lower back. Once I found all that out, man, yoga is it.”
“I think that’s the biggest thing as we age. We still want to move around comfortably. We got kids that we still want to run around and play with. So that’s my biggest thing. I just try to stay in shape.”
“How many points you think you can go out there right now and give us?”
“DC, I ain’t going to lie. I can go out there and get y’all about a good 20, 25. Playing with Trae, the way he passing that thing out there… Man, listen. I’m going to practice on Thursday. So I ain’t even worried about it.”
@Giggavega @TaraBull808 It was politicized when the guy currently in office promised to release the files when he was running for president... Suddenly, it's not important to him anymore and we should all be ashamed to even bring it up, right?
Thank you @InfoNeige for NOT picking up the snow as promised! Good to know that I wasted 30 minutes looking for parking last night for nothing @MTL_Circulation @CTVMontreal@MTL_Ville
'Tis the season for holiday shopping! Here's an awesome gift guide from my team at TELUS. Note: also helpful for anyone shopping for me 😉. https://t.co/KMDtR4UXPr
