@galaxyclassproj@Highlander0666 I'm guessing youre speaking in general, but also specifically about the jtvfx video which is just really well made fanfiction?
@ThunderCats_Ho_@JiltedValkyrie As I've mentioned in another reply, the biggest problem with assigning any level of canon to the novels is that they have their own competing continunities. Do you go with most recently published? Most popular? The best written? Best selling? Or just "the one *you* prefer"?
@te_aser2@ThunderCats_Ho_@JiltedValkyrie The problem with assigning the books any level of canonocity is that the books themselves have competing continuities. For example, if you go by novels there are three different stories of which ship became the Enterprise-A.
@ThunderCats_Ho_@JiltedValkyrie Not true, Star Trek novels are *never* canon except to themselves and other novels that choose to acknowledge them. The closest they get is when a detail from them gets acknowledged on screen (Uhura's first name, "Una Chin-Riley," etc.)
@steel_drifter@The_Araon@BeskarOnFridays@woofknight Agreed, there are better ways to make it mess up than "lol, broke your magic item and possibly killed you because I dont like your idea." I still think making it comedically ineffective due to sudden weight chamge affecting velocity is far funnier.
@steel_drifter@The_Araon@BeskarOnFridays@woofknight The "reduce" spell as written shrinks its dimensions in half, and reduces its weight to 1/8 original. So, 2.4 to 1.2" diameter, and 2lbs to 5.6oz. An actual 1" musketball would actually weigh a little less than twice that.
