@CatParksTX Would be more informative if it was 2022, 2018. Rural TX has a history of Election Day voting. My country only has one location for 900 square miles. And it’s at courthouse square, not a grocery store like urban/suburban.
A year and a half ago, Clayton Tucker and I entered this race from opposite sides of the political aisle, but with one thing in common: We both believed the current Ag Commissioner was corrupt and we needed to clean house at the TDA (see video for Clayton's own words).
Fast forward to today, and Clayton is standing shoulder to shoulder with Sid Miller, the very politician we both set out to replace, and embracing his so-called "legacy."
Think about that.
After more than a decade of scandals, ethics violations, questionable judgment, and a culture of political favoritism at the Department of Agriculture, Clayton Tucker has decided to make common cause with the man responsible for leading it.
This is the same Sid Miller whose longtime political consultant pleaded guilty to commercial bribery involving the sale of state hemp licenses, and whom Miller subsequently hired as his chief of staff.
The same Sid Miller who faced ethics penalties over his use of public funds and campaign accounting.
The same Sid Miller who hiked fees on farmers and ranchers, millions of dollars over what he claimed he needed money for.
The same Sid Miller who led the Texas school lunch program to 44TH IN THE NATION.
Texans deserve better than political alliances built around personal grudges and protecting the old guard.
Clayton can call this partnership whatever he wants. But Texans can see what's happening.
I didn't run against Sid Miller just to inherit his political machine. I ran to change the way the Department of Agriculture operates, restore integrity, and put Texas farmers, ranchers, and families first.
You don't change the status quo by joining it.
Texas voted for a new direction in March. I'm not backing down from delivering it. #txlege
Great Frisco event last night for @JaredLPatterson. Great message on what’s been accomplished, what he & Republicans will address next year. And what’s at stake if conservatives stay home and don’t vote. #GoVote!
You have no idea what your talking about. In the House there is no such thing as a "Co-Chair". The Dems have no power other than breaking corium. There was NO deal made to get the Dems to vote for Burrows. Your the guy who acts like he knows everything on the range then shoots himself in the foot.
@IAmATMFirearms@Burrows4TX Dustin has done more for 2A than anyone in last 20 years so put that D label up your backside. I wouldn’t have passed removing suppressors. Constitutional carry and short barrel and many more wouldn’t have passed without Dustin. and many more.
@rodneyanderson@evanasmith My old 22 rural counties voted overwhelmingly for school choice. Cost of living / fuel prices are what they are REALLY mad about. My son's skid steer uses a lot of diesel everyday.
I'm exited to join Representative @DavidSpillerTX on Monday, October 19th at the Cooke County Conservatives monthly meeting for a Townhall to discuss the upcoming 90th Legislative Session! I hope you can join us!
Doors open at 6:00 PM · Townhall begins at 6:30 PM. #txlege
It is a sign!!! When shopping tonight I saw a pallet of the world famous honey from @natesheetsforTX.
Voting for Nate is going to be a sweet as his honey. #txlege
@TexUSAPatriot@DadePhelan Didn’t see you on the State Official ballot.
You’re a patriotic Californian, not a real Texan. Probably can’t pour piss out of a boot with the instructions on the bottom.
