Funny to see everyone's take on the end of the PDT Rule, but it was pretty un-American to begin with.
Remember, legal restrictions or not, 90%+ of traders lose so nothing changes here except unprepared traders will be forced to learn the hard truths about trading even faster which speeds up their education and if they learn properly, it speeds up their learning curve to path to eventual success too.
Either way, I'm proud to teach the https://t.co/IrNC5KmhvG trading rules I had to learn the hard way over the last 25+ years...especially rule #1 https://t.co/bPdRjxTg2U which is so damn important, I cannot emphasize it enough -- EVER!
Retweet if you promise to trade with rules and reap the benefits of your discipline or ignore the rules and blow up like so many of the top small cap short sellers have (but refuse to admit publicly LOL)
@alex_prompter Why is any of this a surprise? Almost every creative person I know figured this out about two weeks after ChatGPT launched. I mean... Wow.
They said I couldn’t do it.
They said it would’ve happened by now.
They told me to give up, to move on, to admit defeat.
I’m here today to tell you: never give up on your dreams.
@jomickane This is good news. That said, I wish we'd all stop referring to things like this as Orwellian. 1984 was a cry against totalitarianism. Let's call it what it is: Totalitarianism. The charges were totalitarian. And a huge thank you to Orwell for keeping it top of mind.
@MrPitbull07 What a beautiful quilt! To your daughter: You've done something wonderful. You set a goal, got stuck in, and finished. Take this experience forward in life. Stay strong and amazing. Your quilt is a forever shield against sad, ignorant people.
@elonmusk It's probably too late for that. Every day it looks more like a sixth-gen warfare orchestrated assault on the greatest political experiment in history.
@mindseraAI A large language model can't understand emotions. The only patterns it recognizes are language patterns. It does not have the capacity to "dive deeper into your thoughts." No AI-powered anything has this capacity. Your ad is based on a false premise and a lie.
@MikeYoungEsq@jk_rowling 1. Anyone who does this is a moron and deserves the lawsuit and punitive damages. 2. As a musician and copywriter, I can't imagine why anyone would want to bypass the creative process. The act of creation is the point. 3. Prepare for a glut of homogeneous glop.
Excellent advice from one of the greats: Study the masters, you'll get more out of it (by far) than from that PromptWhisperer course you wasted money on.
What really makes copy work?
One overlooked pro-secret is the tone of voice.
Every legendary copywriter has a distinct style and unique fingerprints. I promise that once you learn to spot them, your own copy will improve immeasurably.
For example, there's the tough-guy, power-verb style of John Carlton... the confident, benefit-heavy, stern-parent ways of Dan Kennedy... the extraordinarily likeable, we're-in-this-together voice of Gary Bencivenga... the irresistible intelligence and wry wit of Jim Rutz... the vivid emotional power of Clayton Makepeace... the friend-looking-after-your-best-interests warmth of Gary Halbert... and the biblical simplicity, directness and power of Claude Hopkins.
Let's test your copy voice detection skills! Can you tell which of the legendary copywriters above belongs to which copy below (answers in the first comment)?
Example #1 - A funny thing happened on the way to the Millennium: In the Fourth Century, the church's wheels fell off.
Until then, it had looked like the gospel would reach the uttermost parts at chariot race speed. Or at least before McDonald's did.
No such luck. Just after A.D. 300, the church made the biggest blunder in its history and crashed like an Indy 500 racer with a stuck throttle and a full tank of gas.
For example, Church leaders got the bright idea of diversifying into politics,
and took over whole governments. We now remember this period as the, uh, Dark Ages.
#2 - Would you like to know how much money you have invested in Social Security right to the penny?
Then would you like to know how to get the most from that investment including all the brand new Social Security benefits?
How you can do both, and here is the way it works...
#3 - If you've ever wanted to drive a golf ball with the explosive velocity of a howitzer cannon (adding half the length of a football field to your tee shots alone)... while hitting all your fairways and greens with masterful precision... then this will be the most important message you ever read.
#4 - Just run your tongue across your teeth. You'll feel a film — that's what makes your teeth look "off color" and invites decay.
Note how many pretty teeth are seen everywhere. Millions are using a new method of teeth cleansing. Why would anyone have dingy film on their teeth? Pepsodent removes it!"
#5 - The "experts" say that individual investors like you and me are motivated by only two emotions -- fear and greed.
Well, they're wrong.
I've seen another powerful force shaping investors' attitudes as never before,
and that's anger -- righteous anger with all those who are either lying to us or
dreadfully mismanaging our wealth. In this letter, I invite you to join a
powerful grassroots movement of investors who are no longer putting up with it.
But who, exactly, are we revolting against? I'll tell you who...
#6 - This is a letter about MONEY. About making it differently. Quicker, easier, in bigger chunks than you're used to. Even about attracting it, rather than pursuing it. About accumulating it more certainly and faster, in order to achieve real wealth, security, and independence.
But this letter is about a lot more than money. It's also about what you trade — and most importantly, what you need NOT trade — in order to get all the money you want.
At the end of this letter, I'm going to ask you to make an important and, frankly, not inexpensive decision...
#7 - An engine that has been run at full throttle for 7 hours before installation, three acoustical mufflers that tune out sound frequencies, shock-absorbers that you can adjust from the driver's seat—these and a thousand other engineering refinements all add up to a precision instrument that cruises gracefully at 90 m.p.h. and never becomes obsolete.
What makes it the best car in the world? "There is really no magic about it—it is merely patient attention to detail," says an eminent Rolls-Royce engineer.
#8 - The harmless-looking white powder you're looking at could have been a death sentence for John—and a catastrophe for his grieving family.
Just hours ago, it was arterial plaque, clogging his circulatory system, restricting blood flow to vital organs, and setting the stage for a deadly heart attack or stroke.
But now, this once-savage killer is as harmless as a teaspoon of sugar...
Let me know how you did!
