@SpencerQuain @ewatkins18 πββοΈ Thanks for the shout out. I agree @SpencerQuain, Sacramento is a gem and definitely underrated. If you're ever in the area, I'd be happy to show you around.
Provo is doing just fine w/o me. Doing great work. Provo is one of my favorite cities.

@SpencerQuain@transport_tom Imma let you finish, but I doubt there is anywhere in the country with more billboards per linear mile than I-15 along the Wasatch Front.
What comes next? Thinking about how urban planning has addressed pandemics in the past, and the lasting impact this has had on our cities. Boulevards in Paris, Chicago, New York, Central Park (and most Olmstead designed parks), sewer systems all responded to cholera/yellow fever.
@JennyDWyant @spiraltime@prinzrob @valhermanson Sadly, I haven't been able to track down the original source to give them due credit. I suppose this counts as "community transmission."
While I see lots of this too, I've been impressed by so many folks saying they drive today but would rather not have to, and want better bike or transit options!
I was recently told, "We're a transit riding community, so if you're building it for us, give us transit lanes."
@MellissaMeng Only 3 are mine. We got a friend to tag along. Didn't take much convincing for a two year old to take a ride on the bus to the park! π
@DoerrAli@TheCityofSac I got your request come thru last night. We'll visit the location and site new racks next week. Expect new racks within 3 weeks.
Really sorry about the encounter with other bicyclist. πβοΈ
4 year old cyclist passes 20 adult drivers in single occupancy vehicles this morning. Drivers stuck at red light argue, "It's too cold outside!" 4 year old not cold due to exercise. News at 11.
