Transportation planner working to make walking, biking and transit better for ALL people. City of Sac AT Commissioner (D4). Views are my own. She/Her/Hers
To the @Uber driver who told me "It's too early to be a bitch" and "pick up your pace you need to loose some weight" all because I pointed out he was blocking the crosswalk. Hope you get the help you need. Yelling at strangers from your car is not demure, not cutesy.
🔊Help us help you improve walking, biking, and more in your community by answering the Active Transportation Resource Center survey. 🚶♀️🚴🛴

Tonight, Sacramento City Council approved the 2040 General Plan. Single family zoning is gone, and housing near transit is legal! The plan goes into effect in March, and the zoning code overhaul to bring our ordinances in line with the plan will happen this year--so stay tuned!
Watch out Midtown, your girl is out here caring about accessibility for people walking, biking and rolling and will report ya 📸 You've been warned. #311
Update! All 3 reports have been forwarded to City Council and will be put on as consent calendar items at a future meeting. Our recommendations require tough conversations around the @TheCityofSac budget so please continue to engage. The work isn't over yet!
Tomorrow (2/13) at 11am the @TheCityofSac P&PE Committee will be hearing the 2023 Annual Reports from the Active Transportation, Planning and Design and Disability Advisory Commissions. Help us get our reports to the full City Council!

Hey @CapitolCorridor any idea where train #744 is? According to your app it doesn't operate from the Fremont station but it's listed on the weekend eastbound schedule 🤔
My time as @TheCityofSac ATC chair has come to an end, but I'm so excited to see who steps into the role next! Join us at 5:30pm TONIGHT in historic City Hall. We will also be discussing the long awaited draft Work Zone and Event Detour Policy 🚧🎪Don't miss out!
It drives me kind of nuts how vague our conversations about climate change can be, so let's just say the quiet part loud: 40% of US emissions come from the manufacture and driving of passenger cars. Not just "transport", not just "industry"; cars. https://t.co/kXkR6vZKp5
Join the @TheCityofSac ATC tonight for our last meeting of the year! I'm thrilled to see pedestrian improvements coming to the 29th St. @RideSacRT station 🙌🏽 We will also be voting on our 2023 Annual Report. It may look similar to last year, but now includes specific budget asks.
