Reform's prisons policy announcement:

-No early release for serious crimes (murder, serious violence, rape, manslaughter, terrorism, child abuse, indecent assault).
-Reinstate short prison sentences of under 12 months.
-Reverse presumption in favour of suspended sentences.
-All changes to apply retrospectively to anyone sentenced under Labour's early-release regime.
-Foreign National Offenders with custodial sentences to serve the full remainder in rented third-country prisons, including El Salvador and Kosovo.
-Those with non-custodial sentences deported.
-Lifetime bar on re-entry to the UK on completion of sentence.
-Around 12,400 new places on Ministry of Defence land within 18 months of the election, using pre-fabricated modules.
-British Army assistance.
-Buy standard off-the-shelf kit rather than bespoke builds.
-22,000 additional places by 2031 in total: 10,000 rented overseas, around 12,000 built domestically.
-Savings from overseas transfers used.

Confirming what we all knew - No10 North is a patronising expensive pointless charade.
