🇦🇱🇽🇰The Kosovo Liberation Army was not a criminal organization; it was the liberation force of oppressed people fighting for freedom and independence. Serbia was the aggressor that committed war crimes, murdered and massacred civilians, burned villages and cities, and forcibly expelled one million Albanians from their homes, until the intervention of the United States and NATO brought an end to this machinery of ethnic cleansing and genocide against the Albanian people.

What the Special Court in The Hague is doing today does not advance justice or peace in the Balkans. Rather, it is an attempt to rewrite history by shifting the focus from the aggressor to the victim, creating a false equivalence between a liberation army and the criminal Serbian state machinery that initiated and carried out the wars across the Balkans.

🇺🇸 Washington and the Western world must act to ensure that this mechanism does not become an instrument for distorting historical truth.

The people of Kosovo and the Albanian-American community demand justice.

🔴 I have just stepped out of the building where the theater of shame of international justice is being performed with Hashim Thaçi, who was taken ostage - without trial or charge - from the Office of the President of the Republic, where he had been placed by the will of the people of Kosovo. Alongside the Kosovo Liberation War, which cannot be desecrated by a farce that began with organ trafficking allegations invented by Putin’s Russian puppets of the Duma in Strasbourg, and continued with all kinds of absurdities and grotesque witnesses brought forth by the international prosecution in The Hague. 👎

I found the commander in good shape, calm and smiling, like every innocent man with a spine of steel, even though this time he is subject to absurd restrictions on basic rights that were not imposed during his previous detention - a shame all its own, to say the least.

We spoke about family, about mutual friends, about Albania and Kosovo, about Aurel Plasari’s Skënderbeu, which I had brought him earlier, about Kissinger’s final book, which I brought him this time, and about two or three other titles from the endless list of his readings in this place which, with a smile, Hashim calls “the institute.” 😊

I no longer know what to say about this screaming injustice at the heart of democratic Europe, carried out with the blessing of European states and the United States, and funded by European and American taxpayers, against a European people who liberated themselves from a national-socialist regime, and who also helped liberate Europe from a black stain of apartheid that sat at its very center for decades. 🙏

May the Republic of Kosovo, the Kosovo Liberation Army, and its prisoners - held without trial for more than five years now, in the middle of the so-called Europe of freedom, democracy, and rule of law be blessed. 🇽🇰❤️🇪🇺

James Rubin said that it was the zone commanders who gave orders to Thaçi, not the other way around.
Rubin was speaking about the several-day meetings he held with the KLA leaders in Prishtina, after the war ended.

In those meetings, Rubin said, the zone commanders—who were older than Thaçi in age—told Thaçi what he had to do, and not the opposite.

For five years, the criminal prosecution of the Specialist Chambers has summoned all sorts of thugs to testify that Thaçi was the one asked about everything in the KLA.

Then comes the highest-ranking American official for Kosovo at that time, and with simple and convincing words explains the opposite.
