Looking to purchase a TDR 350 Field Scout. In a baseball field application where I’ll be using it to measure moisture in the turfgrass as well as clay areas on the skin and packing clays. Is there any preference of probe lengths; 1.5”, 3”, 4.8”, and 8”.
@fieldexperts
@DurhamBullsAGM @wralweather 14 days of nothing but blankets!!? What’s all the local high schools and colleges do when they want to play at your field? Good luck and happy y’all are going to be shining for OD
After all the hard work that @DriveTurfCrew had done all week for us to make #FluorField, home of the @GreenvilleDrive a great place to play, we were more than ready to help pull tarp after our games today!!
#TarpTogether
@TIMMMAY8 back half of skin. And having to dry it out anyhow. But it did help in some areas on the front half. A good grade is key off your arch and thru your grass. Best use I think is to ride them off road stands( flood then cover to moisture in thru the break)
@TIMMMAY8 Use ours made from an old tarp mainly to lay under any flooring needed. Cut them to fit with 6” at most of overlap into the grass , when I used a few times to cover for rain for long period pre season or pre homestand, but banged the idea after having plenty of wet clay still on
@GreenvilleDrive All 3 of these dudes couldnt have achieved the accolades without the team they had. Forever grateful for all those that I’ve got to share the ball field with.
