@JakeSucky This trailer makes me think they're trying for a game that's meant for pro play. Which makes me worry it's going to be mediocre and jam packed with MTX's
@SurvivalGN Is this a serious question? It's early access and not a lot of content. So naturally people are going to move on and wait for new content to drop.
@zeanxe@eurogamer I hope it turns out similar to the first game. You have tools that can be lethal(if you like spending several minutes beating on a leviathan) but are meant more as a deterrent.
@zeanxe@eurogamer It's still in early access, and from what I've seen it still has another 2 years. So it's nowhere close to a finished product so things can change
@tmo_melonmaster@Pirat_Nation Honestly I think part of it is because they went through all this with the first game. Just now the game has way more eyes on it so the question is being asked WAY more than last time. I'm not justifying the hostility, but it's my guess as to why
@Game0gre@pcgamer I'm still torn on that. Yeah it sucks, but it's not going to ruin the game for me.
The claim of it being an agenda is where I think it's getting ridiculous
@Game0gre@pcgamer I don't see it as a bit deal, I only ever attacked small fish for food or hit stalkers and sandsharks if they got too close. I found it easier just to avoid or stasis anything aggressive
@Game0gre@pcgamer The first game eventually had other tools added to defend yourself. Like the stasis rifle and repulsion/propulsion cannons. The seamoth also had torpedos. The roadmap already shows new tools coming so wait and see what they add
@Weizen_Wizard@Game0gre@pcgamer Not every game has to be a shooter. But sure, ruin the entire atmosphere and tension by lugging around guns and just shooting everything. There are other games that are built around it
@Game0gre@pcgamer If you think so. The whole story, of the first game revolves around you being a miner. So why would a company give you a firearm? Second game you play as a researcher. So again, why would you need a firearm?
