Ken Paxton’s Attorney General’s Office offered a man originally charged with repeatedly sexually abusing a child a plea deal reducing the felony to two misdemeanors, with only one day of jail time and no sex-offender registration. The judge rejected the one-day proposal and ultimately imposed 60 days. His office did this also. So for all his “wins” this is a major L.
