Hindus must learn shamelessness. IM commentators freely attack the basic concept of one-person-one-vote, simply because they are outnumbered. Learn to pursue a naked hunger for power like that, without any apology, in fact while abusing even your mildest critics, all while loudly crying you’re the victim. It makes for a terrible society, but the alternative seems sharia.
@HarrisRichard77 Yeah man, why can’t you love Pakistanis for peace gestures made 23 years ago? Is it because after that they started a war in Kargil, sponsored terror attacks in the valley and sent ISI trained jihadis to kill Mumbaikars in trains, maternity hospitals and hotels ?

@TheMuslimMatter Rohingya settlements in Kashmir cause demographic anxieties to local Kashmiri population. Their removal is demanded by local Kashmiris and agreed to by GoI
@iamzappy It’s very simple. Courts are worried that constitutional protections meant for weak sections of the Hindu community, should not be diluted by applying to sections of other religious communities.
@iSoumikSaheb 🇧🇩 was - and ideally should continue to be - a natural ally of 🇮🇳. Not just because of dependencies, but also because India genuinely wants nothing from 🇧🇩 except to respect the border and be peaceful
@just_avik Sanatani minds can go a lifetime without understanding aspects of sanatan. Thats why I’m patient with the Abrahamics. We must all seem very confusing to them.
An Indian eye-surgery book vanished from China. Korea kept part of it.
The operation was cataract couching: a needle goes in beside the white of the eye and pushes the clouded lens out of the way. The Sushruta Samhita describes the Indian procedure.
By the Tang dynasty it was in Chinese medicine, taught under the name of one book, the Longshu pusa yanlun, "Bodhisattva Nagarjuna's eye treatise".
In 752 Wang Tao's Waitai miyao already quotes an older Indian treatise on the eye.
Then the trail breaks. The original Longshu book was not handed down in China. A large part of it was copied into Korea's great medical compendium Uibang yuchwi, compiled under King Sejong in 1445.
It has 8 sections and 30 eye diseases. It names heat and wind as main causes. It says the cataract forms when poison and heat gather in the brain and the eye's "oil" runs down over the pupil.
And it gives the golden-needle method step by step, to be done only when the film has hardened "like white jade".
Korean scholars Kim and Kang call it a record of Indian medical ideas already lost in China.
An operation travelled from India to China. The Chinese copies of the book were lost. A Korean encyclopedia kept the text. 🙏🙏

@ShoaibDaniyal Genuinely asking- do Indian Muslims follow a caste system? Have they kept track of their old castes and still use it to discriminate against each other?
@mehdirhasan Gotta admire the honesty in admitting he has no problems with discrimination against Pakistani Hindus and Sikhs. The kafir-est of religions no doubt in Mehdi’s mind.
@dukhi_tsunoda Aamchee at Babulnath. Exceptional but simple vegetarian food with the kind of dishes you won’t find on menus elsewhere, quality ingredients and a charming ambience.
