More importantly we can search underwater with sonar and recover submerged casualties with the new ROV.

Really useful training day using @DiveCapernwray today for @LfrsDrone team training. We've been getting to grips with our brand new @deeptrekker underwater rescue capable ROV. SONAR is a different level compared to normal drone ops but we'll get there @stevejhealey @LancashireFRS

The #UKISAR team have been working tirelessly and a rescue was imminent.

Shortly after this image a rescue of two females age 60 and 90 was made.

The two females were handed to medics for immediate treatment and the #UKISAR team continued their mission #rescue

Call to assist a crew at Rawtenstall in the early hours of Sunday. Reports of someone in a river, a thermal search of the area was carried out, as well as personnel on the ground. After a thorough search no persons were located. #DroneSAR

Tonight we have been assisting crews at a large fire involving a derelict building in Accrington. We were able to identify how effective the water jets were applying water onto the fire. We also identified a burning gas pipe within the building, can you spot it? @LancashireFRS

There needs to be a total ban on open fires, including barbecues of all kinds - at least in the red areas. We have the exceptional fire weather forecast and tinder dry fuels, *risk of ignition is now key*. #WildfireAware #firewiseUK

Today we took delivery for a trial period the @deeptrekker underwater ROV. We will be putting it through its paces over the coming weeks. The ROV is fitted with sonar and a claw, enabling it to locate and retrieve heavy objects submerged in water. @LancashireFRS @stevejhealey
