Russian forces carried out a drone strike on a Ukrainian supermarket in Odessa this morning.
A Geran-4 slammed into a busy Tavria V supermarket in Mayaky, injuring multiple people and setting the building ablaze.
A horrific Russian jet-powered “shahed” attack on an ordinary store in the Odesa region. Russia continues its bloody terror. The store was partially destroyed, and cars were damaged. Three people were injured. All necessary emergency services are working at the scene and providing assistance to those affected.
It is important that our partners help us defend against this. Residential buildings, stores, energy and other critical infrastructure are under attack virtually nonstop. Not a single hour of peace.
What is happening is Russia’s pointed response to the signals it is receiving from America. Unfortunately, there are dangerous signals about the possibility of further sanctions relief. These sanctions were imposed by the world, by America, Europe, and our partners in response to Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and its war against us. Nothing has changed. The war has not stopped. The sanctions must not be lifted. Russia must end the slaughter it itself started and has continued for 1,695 days now. More money to fund the killing will not help bring this about. Strength is what is needed, and America is stronger than Russian terror.
US has not spent $350B on Ukraine. It has spent $132B, $33B of that is money. The rest is $21B in loans, repaid from frozen Russian assets, $4B in humanitarian aid, and the vast majority, $74B is military equipment.
Half that equipment is new, made in the US. The other half is old stockpile equipment, which soon would have had to be demilitarized at great cost. The replacement equipment is made in the US, so the money stays in the US.
Meanwhile, the EU and European countries have spent a combined $271B, more than twice as much as the US.
BREAKING:
15 Ukrainian civilians have been killed in a Russian airstrike on a residential building in Zaporizhzhia. 3 of them are children.
Several people are still believed to be missing under the rubble.
Zaporizhzhia. The heartbreaking reality of life in Ukraine.
A husband and wife are pulled alive from the rubble of their home. Their daughter is dead.
Two parents survived. Their little girl didn’t.
We don’t hate russia and its enablers enough.
Today, Russia expressed its thanks for the lifting of sanctions on diesel exports by dropping five glide bombs on residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia. As of now, sadly, twelve people have been confirmed killed, including three children. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. Another fourteen people have been injured, and two of them are in critical condition – the doctors are fighting to save their lives. The status of twelve more people who may have been there is still being verified. All emergency services are at the scene, and search-and-rescue operations are underway. Overnight, thirteen of our regions came under attack. Residential buildings, infrastructure, and railway facilities have been damaged.
Last night confirmed once again that in Russia, they take any easing of pressure to mean they can keep fighting, to mean they can keep dropping bombs on cities. Different signals are needed. Russia must understand that it needs to stop the war, and for that to happen, Russia must feel its losses. Right now, it is our long-range capabilities that are ensuring this. And we will respond to Russian strikes. I thank everyone who is helping.
Magyar’s Reality Check
Get a grip, dear Ukrainians; it’s time to switch on your brains.
At a moment when bad people are no longer using just their fingertips to sell a tired, frightened people the illusion of a quick ceasefire and the longed-for peace.
They are spinning fairy tales precisely when the villain is raising the level of escalation and openly threatens the whole world. They are shaping opinion virtually in unison with the Valdai chatter.
putin is definitely not about peace. He wants blood, to the point of destroying us completely. And today he is using the “jet-powered Shahed” window of opportunity, taking apart the REAR specifically, because at the front he has had few successes throughout all of 2026, to put it mildly.
If we want to survive, we need to follow rational analysis and mathematics, not unattainable dreams. And we definitely want to survive.
And yes, the enemy's current window of opportunity will be closed by the Defense Forces through countermeasures, including rearmament, which takes time.
How much? Depends on a number of factors – I won’t say more for now.
The front is tough, the worm is pushing and will keep pushing, but is being destroyed at an increasing rate.
The Army has hardened, and now it’s time for the rear to grow up, too.
Don’t believe in illusions and miracles – let’s rely on our own strength and on one another – only this way will we preserve our statehood and Motherland.
And the shed under a white flag proposed by the jackals will be burned down on the very first dark night.
The grown-ups will understand me.
We will stand.
Moscow will fall.

I'm so incredibly tired. Attacks, victim-blaming, attacks, victim-blaming, on and on and on. I want to scream into people's faces that it is not our fault that Russia is killing us, and that we need help.
I once naively thought that if social media had existed during World War II, the world would have surely stopped it much sooner. But now I realize we probably would have screamed our lungs out about war crimes online, only to be told we provoked it ourselves and be met with a bunch of "I am XX and Hitler is not my enemy."
so much hell happening after Russian attacks all over Ukraine I need to choose which one to cover because I just can’t physically cover all of it. That’s how much Russia bombs us.
Every time you read about russian casualties, remember one thing: russia can end this war any day. It is entirely the kremlin's choice for russian people to die.
