We want to wish ๐๐ซ๐ฎ ๐๐๐ค๐ (@DruZeka) the best of luck this upcoming basketball season! A gifted athlete, tough match up, canโt leave her open - she will knock down a shot or get to the rim. The sky is her limit.

Dru Zeka of Wellington is just a sophomore and has already picked up 5 individual state gold medals and a state meet record. Zeka had a phenomenal weekend at the state track meet. She started it off by taking home the gold for the first time in the 4Aย long jump with a new state meet record jump of 19-0.75. She then went on to defend her titles in both the high jump (5-8) and the 400m (57.44). Zeka was also a big part of the Wellington state championship basketball team this winter. She comes from an athletic family as older sister Britt Zeka was the SIK Large Classes Defensive POY this winter and is heading to Fort Hays to continue her basketball career. #sportsinkansas
Dru Zeka sophomore of Wellington (4A) broke the Wellington HS school record in long jump that had stood since 2007 with a 18'5.5" jump at the Clearwater invitational Friday. This jump puts her tied for the top spot in 4A, tied with Andaleโs Rylee Meyer. Zeka was also a key member of the Wellington basketball 4A State Title earlier this year. She comes from quite the athletic family as her older sister Britt Zeka earned SIK Defensive POY this winter. She won the high jump and 400 last year as a freshman in 4A. #sportsinkansas

@WellingtonActiv sophomore defends her 4A long jump title with a new state meet record of 19-0.75 โ also the defending champ in 4A 400m and HJ
I believe @DruZeka had to leave the LJ mid-event to run 400m prelims. She won that too. Crazy.
It will be a big day for Dru Zeka. She has already won the state championship in the long jump and the high jump. She has a chance to win the 4A 400. She will also be helping the 4x100 relay team... (1)
In yesterday's 4A high jump, Dru Zeka leaped 5-8, to win the state championship over McPherson's Ellie Herrara. Interestingly, nobody in 5A or 6A cleared the bar after 5-4. This marked Zeka's 2nd consecutive state title in the event.
Thatโs a 3-gold weekend for @WellingtonActiv sophomore Dru Zeka.
She wins her second straight 4A title in the 400 with a PR of 57.44.
Also won the long jump (19-0.75, state meet record) and high jump (5-8). She PRโed in all 3 events and will finish top 10 in Kansas.
