Yesterday, the Centre for the Study of the Economies of Africa (CSEA) welcomed a delegation from the Economic Department of the French Embassy in Nigeria for a productive engagement session.

The discussion centred on the economic potential of Abuja, with a focus on the impact of the Federal Capital Territory Authority's (FCTA) policies and the broader challenges shaping the city's economic development.

The meeting followed the Embassy team's participation in the 7th Africa Emerging Markets Forum and reflects CSEA's continued role in providing research-driven insight to international partners and diplomatic missions operating in Nigeria.

We appreciate the embassy's interest in the centre's research and look forward to continued collaboration on issues driving economic growth in Abuja and across Nigeria.
