@zimbricchio @supermathskid You do realise that jokes have multiple forms right? Ie. Irony and satire which don't require that.
Not every joke or story has to have a punch line or even be directly relatable or real, Bill Bailey's comedy is a perfect example. You should check it out will widen your horizons.
@LukeryaStart@manimax82@vvage_labor Just to input as a European. Then check actual government figures on who is commiting the r's in the vast majority (and are overrepresented in that group).
Spoiler: it isn't immigrants, who are very much underepresented.
@MarginalSC @ContraPoints Apparently women have a different elbow shape from men or somesuch. Can never be entirely sure with these people they tend to make up shit as they go along. π
Hell according to them, men have an inverted triangular upper body shape thereby excluding most men over 40. π
@DarkNightCecil @drmistercody Absolutely embrace the baldness. Plus is cheaper for hair care, just need a trimmer and a steady hand. π
Although considering Tim's current joining of the manosphere, can understand why he might be feeling a bit fragile. He doesn't exactly fit their concept of an alpha male. π€£
@femmehonnete1@FrauBobble Only common denominator I see here is that everyone who knows what they are talking about, thinks you are wrong.
However I notice you jump straight to "No, they are". Introspection is a good thing, try it.
@EmmaVigeland on 8th March change to French constitution goes to be signed by president. It prevents government from making any law restricting the freedom of women to end their pregnancy.

@annamerlan More seriously though her memory is extrdmely rose tinted and not sure where she grew up but clearly was smewhere extremely temperate and assumes that everywhere else was the same.
@annamerlan That is a strange lady, what universe did she grow up in?
Say that to anyone in UK and they will put you in the loony bin, blue skies, sun! No sir shades of grey and wet are all we know. π/1
@PiatPod Not having to give a damn about dumb arse so called "sins" and do/be stuff that harms no one and in many cases is way healthier and more moral.
@2years2late@nhobbsicle@The_King_Honky@Eric_Conn@harmonizedgrace Also we have a fairly good understanding of how life likely started, the evidence for abiogenisis is continuing to build, no gods in any of the hypotheses most supported by the evidence either.
@thedavid2064@Jimmykapaau@Matt_Dillahunty You want to argue the philosophy of Engel's and Marx, actual philosophers, on X? In 240 character posts?
Read Das-Kapital and Anti-DΓΌhring if you want to understand the philosophy.
If you had you would realise how silly the comment about Marxism trying to 'replace' religion is.
@LordCodrus @NowHereThis2@paulogia0 Depends on how it was done, by the sword, with the threat of death conversion 'happened' quickly/instantaneously (which was why it was so popular). Otherwise historical records indicate it took generations and a lot of successful political manoeuvring into positions of power.
@Jimmykapaau@thedavid2064@Matt_Dillahunty πthis π€£
The spacemarine pfp and wh40k quote is also somewhat telling (not having a go both a collector and player and love the fluff, with the understanding that it contains no 'good guys' by design, and yes even the emperor of mankind was and is a 'bad guy').
@SethAndrewsTTA@Matt_Dillahunty Can we all agree that Rogan is the poster child for why you shouldn't over do recreational drugs and an active 90's/00's druggie stereotype? Whenever he pops up he just comes across as always so out of it and disconnected from what is going on around him.
