If a player doesn’t play hard all the time, no skill they bring to the table can offset that. Playing hard is a prerequisite to playing. Period. Nobody succeeds by making half an effort. Make sure your players understand that laziness is unacceptable. Competing to WIN is a skill!
8th grade parents:
Your number one concern for your freshman athlete isn’t if they play varsity or not, it’s if they PLAY! Minutes on freshman or JV are much more important than sitting on a varsity bench as a freshman. Is it about their development or ego?
@PNCBank_Help why is your PPP forgiveness process such a joke? Used all my funds over 6 months ago and still no forgiveness. But if I was with any other company it would already have been forgiven.
FWIW: over the last 7-8 years, the swim move & the backhand shot are prime examples of high-risk-low-reward offensive moves that young players are using FAR too much. If young players tabled those moves from their game & practiced more fundamentals, they would be more dangerous
