Today, as part of the national Anti-Polio Vaccination Campaign, DSPR-MECC in Gaza vaccinated 700 children under the age of 10. Five dedicated teams of DSPR-MECC are working tirelessly across the Gaza Strip to protect children from polio and ensure a healthier future for all.
The Palestinian Refugee Service Department of the Middle East Council of Churches mourns the loss of the former Executive Director of the Gaza Department, Constantine Souad Dabbagh (Abu Souad), and is deeply saddened.
In Khan Younis, people are eager to help set up the tents, tables and treatment chairs for our mobile clinic. Our doctors and nurses offer medical and psychosocial services there and provide nutritious supplies to the many people in need.
On 8 June, as on every other day last week, our Mobile Clinic provided care and treatment to over 450 people in the refugee camp in Der Al Balah in central Gaza and distributed medicines to people who need them so urgently.

Since the end of July, the Ain Al-Hilweh refugee camp in Lebanon has been a scene of violence. Following a brief period of relative calm, recent days have witnessed a renewal and intensified clashes again, escalating to the point where at least ten people have been killed
During the summer many families go away to visit their relatives, the sea, the mountains or new places worth discovering. For the children in the camps, this is not possible. That's why DSPR in Lebanon runs summer camps in many centres to empower the children.

In Lebanon, Palestinian refugees have hit rock bottom, reaching a point of no return. Poverty, unemployment and despair are in high doses across the country, severely hitting the Lebanese people, Syrian and Palestinian refugees.
October - Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In Gaza we as DSPR NECC have put this month under breast cancer awareness and launched a campaign. We aim to give every woman access to screening and the support she needs at DSPR NECC health clinics.
