To anyone reading this who might be facing a similar crossroads, meet my son Josh.
Josh is 3 and has Down Syndrome, the very condition shared about here in this post. We received a prenatal diagnosis at roughly 10 weeks. Some of the complications we feared happened, but that wasn't the end of the story. Josh was born early and spent a month in the hospital. At 1 year old, he had open-heart surgery. Now he's 3, loves life, and is thriving. The hard days didn't win.
If anyone else finds themselves in a similar place, reach out. There's a whole community of people here to support you. It hasn't always been easy, but he's worth every bit of it and then some.
I don’t care about titles or power and I don’t need the money.
I care about the mom working two jobs who needs groceries to cost less and schools to teach, not indoctrinate. I care about the dad who wants his kids safe, supports the police, and wants criminals held accountable.
I care about the young couple trying to buy their first home and the child in foster care who needs somebody in power to remember they exist.
I care about the widows who fear losing their home because they can't afford crushing property taxes and want someone to listen to them for once.
I care about our law enforcement and first responders on the frontlines who protect us but don’t get the respect or resources they deserve, especially as they battle against the mental health crisis.
I’m doing this to put others first.
@KylieJaneKremer This is in poor taste. You can make the (separate & irrelevant to my post) political point about illegal immigration without negating the good work he did to combat trafficking & protect preborn life as AG.
He also did not win this race, what is the purpose of this posturing?
Republican Sarah Warren has held her Georgia Supreme Court seat, likely preserving the GOP’s court majority until at least spring 2030.
The result could especially matter for future abortion and redistricting cases.

AG Carr ran a great campaign and was a champion for LIFE as Attorney General.
Thank you sir for what you and Joan have given our state - the impact will be felt for generations
A consistent pro-life ethic cannot stop at birth.
It means supporting pregnant women, children, families, and the vulnerable before birth, at birth, and after birth — through maternal health care, childcare, family leave, housing, nutrition, and real protection.
That is pro-life for the whole life.
