Kicked off our SMU Football Professional Development Speaker Series today with @MacEngelProf

A few lessons he left our specialists with:

• What is important to you?
• Don’t let one person talk you out of chasing your dream.
• Don’t be afraid to move.
• Work hard.
• Knock on doors.
• Live cheap.
• Make “yes” your best friend. Be available and willing.

The 9 to 5 is your baseline. The 5 to 9 is where you separate yourself, build relationships, and make headway.

People are buying YOU. Make yourself buyable.

And don’t forget the people you love. Give them the best version of yourself, not just the best version of yourself at work.

Go Mustangs and Pony Up! 🐎
