This is such an awesome decision by the Ducks. Making games free to all fans is the best way to get people interested in your organization and those fans will be more likely to buy tickets and merchandise. Excellent news and best move they could have made. Love this!

@AndrewKnollNHL There are no moves cooking. The roster we see today is the roster that takes the ice on Opening Night. GMPV is too conservative and too content to keep hoping the kids develop into NHL stars despite the culture of acceptance for losing he has developed in the Ducks organization.

@brianslind1 Because LaCombe is just a guy. He's a second pairing guy at best and third pairing guy on most teams. He's a dime a dozen & with the deep defensive prospects the Ducks have he's completely expendable.

Laine scores goals. The Ducks need goals. The Ducks should have acquired him.

@bird_tr6 Starting to look that way. You & I could do what he's done - draft who the scouts tell you to draft, overpay veterans in free agency and that's it. The Gauthier deal is nice on paper, but let's see how he does before we sing his praises.

But GMPV is here for as long as he wants.

Then went 18-44-5 the rest of the way

They've added Fabbri, Gauthier & Dumolin
They've lost Jones & Silfverberg

There are no players we KNOW will have good seasons Everything is hopes & ifs

All we can do is hope the team improves this year
