Finished colouring the drawing of Elsie as El Condor Pasa from Umamusume.

Due to her blueish/purplish hair, it probably would have been better to go with someone like Hishi Amazon or Twin Turbo, but El Condor Pasa just spoke to me. I was considering doing it for other characters from my visual novel (demo available now, link in comments 😉) such as Lucille as Biwa Hayahide and Nora as T. M. Opera O. There may even be a three-way crossover with Solomon as the Colonol Sanders version of Gold Ship in the future. Let me know which you'd prefer ✌️

Started drawing two of my visual novel characters in giant costumes of Happy and Carla. I would die a happy man if I could become an avatar to bring Happy into the real world. I need to give Hiro Mashima a firm handshake for creating Happy. There's so hate on Fairy Tail for certain elements of the story but you can't fault the character of Happy.

Finally arrived at the hundredth of the daily devlogs, in which I present another one of the anime animation process drawings featuring one of the visual novel characters. You might be familiar with what's happening in it if you've finished the demo (link in comments). I hope you liked the completed version of Elsie as a character from Umamusume: Pretty Derby and make sure to check out my response to a question from my straw .page where I reveal my secret to coming up with stories. I've also decided to stop the devlogs for now since the Kickstarter is practically done and the last few elements will be completed shortly. Here's one of the animation process drawings I mentioned before that I wanted to add to the trailer. It looks a lot better from a distance, like all my art does LOL. It depicts Lyndon with quite a starkly shaded face and a sinister look. What might it mean for the visual novel? What might it mean for Eira? Just what could be his intention?

The demo is finally available, playable on browser so you don't need to download anything. It can be played on PC or mobile, as long as you go onto desktop mode on mobile. The playtime is about 20-30 minutes, and just like the name of the game, it ends with the father’s last message. Or at least teases it. Credits are available on the itch .io page as well as in the ending credits. And feedback is always welcome, no matter how small [link in comments]

The next piece of feedback has arrived from Kickstarter, asking for me to include a demo. Luckily for me, that's an easy ask since it should take too long to add the final touches on it. I usually end up splitting my attention between a few things, but if I solely focus on it, I could finish the demo and re-submit the kickstarter page for review tomorrow. Finished drawing Elsie as PA-san, did it in a bit of a rush, but it turned out decent enough. She looks much too normal here though, I think that's PA-san's influence. Elsie is more like a firework that's right in your ear, you shouldn't try to contain something like that.

Whilst working on the trailer for the Kickstarter, I figured it'd be cool if I added some additional flashes/teasers in the genga style. The vibe of the trailer wasn't quite matching with the vibe of the visual novel, so I worked out 5 different elements that would definitely take the trailer to the next level. This drawing of Solomon was made with a mouse instead of a stylus like I usually do, just for a change. The built-in stabilisation helped it from looking too weird, so the gamble paid off ✌️

Drew Elsie as PA-san since I feel Elsie would dress very similarly to her. PA-san has a labret piercing though, and I imagine Elsie being the type to be too scared to get any piercings. Look forward to the coloured version coming tomorrow.
